Is a dark-skinned variety,easy-drinking red wine,Rich in black fruit or cherry tones, spicy, and reveals its characteristic boisterous acidity. The wines are often impetuous in their youth, but develop velvety facets when sufficiently ripe. Fuller, stronger versions have good ageing potential."
