"Zoom (Zooming) is a reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing,became a part of our life more noticeable during the corona virus lock-down. A wine tasting was organized by FRENCH DEPOT wine shop and we was zooming with Matteo Villano who represents G.D.VAJRA Barolo winery in Piedmont , Matteo was great, he gave us all the details we needed about the winery, wines ,region and vintages with confidence and managed to connect and engaged with us. A plus was that we was able to connect and chat with Panayiotis Sommelier from Paphos FRENCH DEPOT wine shop and his guests , to exchange ideas and opinions about the wines we was tasting and of curse with us was Marcella from Limassol FRENCH DEPOT , charming and talented.Zooming is cool when you're with right people and great wines. "
G.D.VAJRA winery is located 3 kilometers from the center of Barolo.
G.D.VAJRA a pioneer of organic farming in Piedmont, the first Rhine Riesling planted in Piedmont (1985).

BIANCO DRAGON 2018
LUIGI BAUDANA, LANGHE ( Luigi Baudana is one of the last garagiste estates in Langhe. With just 4 quality hectares, they are located in some of the most prestigious Barolo crus in Serralunga d'Alba.)
Grape variety : Chardonay,Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling,Nascetta (white grape variety grown in Piedmont. Around twenty years ago it was extremely rare)
Nose : High aromatic intensity , generous with exotic fruit character ,perfumes of stone fruits blossoms, flowers, and fresh grass. Very discreet notes of bell peppers.
Palate : Dry ,complex , fresh with medium plus intensity, lively and fleshy.Carries bits of pear, lemon
well blended with savory minerality.
ROSABELLA VINO ROSATO 2018
Fruit for the 2018 Rosabella comes from young estate vineyars located in the villages of Barolo, La Morra, Novello and Serralunga.
Grape variety : Nebbiolo 90%, Barbera 10%
Nose : Medium aromatic intensity and persistence,Floral, rich, with rose petals, raspberry, fresh strawberry.
Palate : Dry, Smooth and tempting with floral and strawberry notes. Pleasantly mineral driven with sweet spicy notes on the finish.

BAROLO DOCG BRICCO DELLE VIOLE 2016
Among the historical vineyards of Barolo, Bricco delle Viole is the highest and the closest to the Alps. It rises from 400 to 480 meters above the sea level, on the Western ridge of the village.
Grape variety : Nebbiolo
Wine was decanted 1 hour before tasting
Nose : Medium plus aromatic intensity and persistence,rich,complex by red berries,blended with gentle scents of lavender, violet along with discreet earthy notes.
Palate : Medium-full,excellent persistence and complexity, of ripe red cherry and strawberry with beautifully shade oak notes .Lovely balance, gentle tannins with very good lively acidity. Outstanding vintage.
