Ktima Gerolemo winery is located about 1 kilometer north of the village of Omodos at an altitude of 900 metres, in the heart of the wine producing area.

Omodos is located about 42 kilometres north-west of the city of Limassol, in the geographical region of the wine-making villages. It is built near the west bank of the Cha-potami river at an average altitude of 810 meters. The village is surrounded by tall mountaintops, the tallest of which are “Afames” (1153 m.) and “Kremmos of Laona” (Laona’s Steep, 1092 m.).

Morokanella is an indigenous variety of Cyprus , capable of producing quality wines.Produces light to midium body wines with floral ,stone - fruits, citrus aromas with high acidity levels.

Nose moderate intensity, fresh and expressive, aromas of white flowers that accompanies stone - fruits notes of apricot,peaches with fine zesty ,citrus aromas building up to come ahead.

Palate dry,light , crisp and refreshing with pleasant high acidity and more sharp edges flavored with a citrus character ,building toward to a lingering finish. Clean minerality and a hint of fresh Mediterranean herb.

FOOD PAIRING

Pairing well with foods flavored with a citrus dressings,seafood salad,fish dishes ,vegetarian options and light white meat.
