" I had the good fortune of meeting Ms. Chiara Soldati owner of La Scolca few years ago , here in Cyprus at Four Seasons hotel for few events that was organized by La Maison du Vin . Attending at Ms. Chiara Soldati masterclass was very rewarding, tasting some incredible wines ,complex and elegant wines, with personality attributable to the terroir, wines that offer a unique taste sensation.A vision that started between 1917 and 1919 offering innovation and tradition,quality and passion to the present - time and plan for what is in the future."
Gavi is the name of a little town on the Apennines mountains, located in Piedmont border to Liguria, from where the famous white and dry wine has taken its name. Thanks to La scolca® who began his production of GAVI 90 years ago, Gavi obtained DOC in 1974 and later DOCG (Denomination of Origin Controlled ano Guaranteed) in 1998.
